You can put this solution on YOUR website!
first you'll need to find the common denominators for these 3 fractions....
6-2.3
3-3
4-2.2
From here we can take 2.2 .3=4.3=12
Now, 5/6=is equal to x/12? since 6.2=12 5.2=10
1/3=x/12? 4/12
1/4=3/12
Now just add.
10%2F12%2B4%2F12%2B3%2F12=17%2F12
Now just divide 17 by 12 to simplify it
the answer is 1 5/12

5%2F6+1%2F3+1%2F4=
To be able to add fractions together you need too have like denominators(the same), so you have to find what number all the all are multiples of;
6,3 & 4 all go evenly into 12;
So your common denominator(LCM) is 12;
So 12 is going to be the denominator of all the fractions, and the numerators ;
5%2F6=10%2F12
1%2F3=4%2F12
1%2F4=3%2F12
Now you have;
10%2F12+4%2F12+3%2F12
So now you can add them together, and you only add the numerators;
10+4+3=17
So the answer is;
17%2F12=15%2F12
Hope you understand
