You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do you solve w%2F3%2B6=-2

Step 1. Multiply 3 to both sides of the equation to get rid of denominator

3w%2F3%2B3%2A6=3%2A%28-2%29

w%2B18=-6

Step 2. Add -18 to both sides of the equation

w%2B18%2B%28-18%29=-6%2B%28-18%29

w=-24

Check...w%2F3%2B6=-2...-24%2F3%2B6=-2...-8%2B6=-2 which is a true statement.

Step 3. ANSWER: The solution is w=-24

I hope the above steps were helpful.
