Step 1. Multiply out right side of equation.

C=ab%2Bad

Step 2. Subtract ab from both sides of equations to isolate ad.

C-ab=ab%2Bad-ab

C-ab=ad

Step 3. Divide by a in both sides of last equation of Step 2 to get d.

Step 4. Answer
