Question 210879: Find the volume of a liquid if 32.5g of the liquid has a density of 0.852 ml

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the volume of a liquid if 32.5g of the liquid has a density of 0.852 ml
--------------
Density = 0.852 gm/ml ??
Volume units are ml.
V = 32.5 gm/0.852 gm/ml
V = ~38.1455 ml
-----------
Include the units in operations to check that you did the right one.
If you mistakenly multiply, you get:
32.5*0.852 = 27.69, which is wrong, but it's not obvious.
-------------------
But with units:
32.5gm * 0.852gm/ml = 27.69 gm^2/ml and the units are obviously wrong.
