You can put this solution on YOUR website!
24a-22=4(1-6a)

24a - 22= 4- 24a

Let's get all the variables on the left side by adding +24a to each side:
24a + 24a -22 = 4

48a -22 = 4

Next, get all the number terms on the right side by adding +22 to each side:
48a -22+22 = 4 + 22
48a = 26

Finally, divide both sides by 48:
%2848a%29%2F48=+26%2F48

Reduce the fraction on the right side by dividing out a factor of 2:
%2848a%29%2F48=+26%2F48
a+=+13%2F24

Expand
24a−22=−4+24a
24a−22=−4+24a
2 Regroup terms
24a−22=24a−4
24a−22=24a−4
3 Cancel 24a24a on both sides
−22=−4
−22=−4
4 Since −22=−4−22=−4 is false, there is no solution
