Question 199696: Hi guys, im just doin some revision at the moment and cant seem to do the following problems. I have write the following expressions in their simplest form.
1. 27(x^3y^4)^2 /(3x)^2y^-5 2. (2a*(4/3)b^2c)^-3 / (a^2bc)^3
3. (9x^2y^6)^(1/2) / 3(x^3*y^9)^1/3
Im not expecting answers to all of them, but Im hoping someone can explain and show me how to do the above problems with step by step solution.
Thanks everyone, -Nick.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1) {27(x^3y^4)^2 }/ [(3x)^2 y^-5]
.
(27 x^6 y^8)/ 9x^2y^-5
.
3 x^4 y^13
.
(2) { 2a* (4/3)b^2c)^(-3)} / (a^2bc^3)
.
{ (8/3ab^2c)^(-3) } / (a^2bc^3)
.
1/ { (8/3ab^2c)^3 } { a^2bc^3 }
.
27 / { 512 a^3 b^6c^3} { a^2bc^3}
.
27/(512 a^5 b^7 c^6)
.
(3) { ( 9x^2y^6)^(1/2) } / { 3 (x^3y^9)^(1/3)
.
(3xy^3) / 3 ( x y^3 ) = 1
