Question 197794: Hi, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong in the following problem. I get the answer (-INFINITY,-5][5,INFINITY) but it says it's incorrect, Can you help me?
Find the domain of the function. If the domain can be specified by only one interval, use (NONE, NONE) for the second interval.
f(x) = sqrt(x^2 - 25)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

The domain of where is indeed (-infinity,-5][5,infinity). So, unless "it", whatever "it" is, is bellyaching about your lack of a union symbol, then "it" is just plain wrong.
