Well the solutions to 5x%5E2=x are x=0 or x=1%2F5. So either the equation is wrong or they want something else (ie you use these solutions to find the real solutions they're looking for).

There is no other way to solve this that I know. The roots of your original equation are exactly as you stated, 0 and -- substitute both of them and see.

If 0 and do not exist in the choices they gave, then someone made an error and gave the wrong set of choices for this problem.

Of course, if one of the choices is 0 and 0.2, then you need to recall that
