A first step that would be nice is to get rid of the fractions. So what could we multiply both sides by to do this? The LCM of 5 and 4 is 20. So,
20%28x-3%29%2F5-1%2820%29=20%28x-5%29%2F4
4%28x-3%29-20=5%28x-5%29
4x-12-20=5x-25
4x-32=5x-25
-32=x-25
-7=x
