You can put this solution on YOUR website! -5w+2+6w=-4+9
Simplify the left side and the right side of the equation:
w + 2 = 5
Subtract 2 from both sides to get:
w = 3

Checking; substitute 3 in place of "x" in the original equation:
-5*3 + 2 + 6*3 = -4+9
-15 + 2 + 18 = 5
5 = 5
