I presume you have to find value of a
First we need to multiply everything in bracket by 0.4
which gives:
0.4a+0.8=2 Subtract 0.8 from both sides
0.4a=1.2 Divide both sides by 0.4
a=1.2%2F0.3 which gives:
a=3
