SOLUTION: I'm having problems trying to figure out this math problem. I'm stuck and no matter what i do the answer just does not come out right. the problem is 0.96y-.079= 0.32y=0.46

Unfortunately, there is a typo because there 
are two equal signs.  I will assume one of 
them must have been supposed to be a plus sign 
and you neglected to hold down the Shift key.

decimal places put a  on the end of the other
decimals so they will also have three decimal

Now, in each term, move the decimal three
places to the right, so they will all become
whole numbers:
