You can put this solution on YOUR website!
make b the subject of the formula a=(8b+5)/(4-3b)
------------------
4a-3ab=8b+5
8b+3ab = 4a-5
b(8+3a) = 4a-5
b = (4a-5)/(8+3a)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

a=%288b%2B5%29%2F%284-3b%29

Clear of fractions:
Multiply both sides by %284-3b%29}:

a%284-3b%29=%288b%2B5%29%2F%284-3b%29%284-3b%29

Cancel:

a%284-3b%29=%288b%2B5%29%2Fcross%284-3b%29cross%28%284-3b%29%29

Multiply the left side out (distribute):

4a-3ab=8b%2B5

Isolate all terms in b on one side. Choose
the right side to isolate them on since all terms
in b will then be positive:

4a-5=8b%2B3ab

Factor out b on the right side:

4a-5=b%288%2B3a%29

Divide both sides by %288%2B3a%29

%284a-5%29%2F%288%2B3a%29=+%28b%288%2B3a%29%29%2F%288%2B3a%29

Cancel on the right:

%284a-5%29%2F%288%2B3a%29=+%28b%2Across%28%288%2B3a%29%29%29%2Fcross%28%288%2B3a%29%29

%284a-5%29%2F%288%2B3a%29=+b

That's it unless you want to switch sides of the
equal sign:

b=%284a-5%29%2F%288%2B3a%29
