X/4-X/2=2+2/7
(X-2X)/4=(14+2)/7
-X/4=16/7
-7X=4*16
-7X=64
X=64/-7
X=-64/7 ANSWER.

(1/4x) - (2/7) = 1/(2x+2)
(7-8x)/28x = 1/2x+2
28x = (7-8x)(2(x+1))
14x = (7-8x)(x+1)
-8x^2-x+7 = 14x
x^2+15x-7 = 0
x = [-15 +- sqrt(225-4*-7)]/2
x = [-15 +- sqrt(253)]/2
