A meter is a little longer than a yard. Since there are 3 feet in a yard you can get a rough
estimate of the answer by dividing 270 by 3 to find that the building is 90 yards tall.
Therefore, the number of meters will also be around 90 ... actually a little less than 90
.
So to get the answer to this problem you take the 0.3048 and multiply it by the number of feet
in the height of the building. So you get:
