You can put this solution on YOUR website!

As an instructor at a gym, Kato earns $15 per hour.
let the number of hours be x
he earns 15x
wants to save 40%=0.4

already saved: 362
he wants to save 800, so 800-362=438 more to save
so, write equality
0.4%2A15x=438
6x=438
x=438%2F6
x+=+73
Kato must work 73 hours to have $800 in his savings account

As an instructor at a gym, Kato earns $15 per hour.
He is planning to deposit 40% of his hourly earnings into his savings account
40% *15 = $6
He has $362 in his savings account
He has to have $800 in his savings account
800-362=438
Let x be number of hours he has to work to add $438 to his account
6x =438
x= 73
Kato must work 73 hours to have $800 in his savings account.
