When a ball is thrown into the air, what is the formula for that?
-------------------
There's "What goes up must come down."
----
The height of a ball thrown vertically is
h(t) = -gt^2/2 + v*t + h0
------
where g is the gravity of Earth, v is speed at launch and h0 is the height above ground when it's launched.
