A piece of sheet metal is 2.7 times as long as it is wide. It is to be made into a box with an open top by cutting​ 3-inch squares from each corner and folding up the sides. Answer the following questions.
1)Represent the length of the original piece of sheet metal in terms of x.
The length is 2.7x
2)x has restrictions. Which of the following are the restrictions for​ x?

3)Which function V represents the volume of the box in terms of​ x?
V=3(x-6)(2.7x-6)
4)The volume of the box must be between 600 and 800 cubic inches. Between which two values must x be in order to produce this range of​ volumes?

The values for v according to question #4 are 600 and 800. So you x boundaries may be as
