You can put this solution on YOUR website!

given:
The perimeter of a rectangle is
30ft+ and
the width is 5ft

first find the length of the rectangle
The perimeter of a rectangle is
p=2%28L%2BW%29...substitute given values
2%28L%2B5ft%29=30ft...both sides divide by 2
%28L%2B5ft%29=15ft
L=15ft-5ft
L=10ft

the ratio of the length of the rectangle to its width is 10%3A5=2%3A1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Perimeter, 30 feet
Width, 5 feet

2%2ALENGTH=30-2%2A5
2%2ALENGTH=20
Length is 10 feet.
