You can put this solution on YOUR website!

an equation in point-slope form is:
y=mx%2Bb where m is a slope and b is y-intercept

given that the line has a slope of m=7%2F2
y=%287%2F2%29x%2Bb
and contains the point (6,9), use it to find b
9=%287%2F2%296%2Bb
9=7%2A3%2Bb
9-21=b
b=-12
so, your equation is
y=%287%2F2%29x-12

What she gave you is NOT point-slope form. Then again, what can you expect from someone like her. She should QUIT this forum!
Point-slope form of a linear equation: matrix%281%2C3%2C+y+-+y%5B1%5D%2C+%22=%22%2C+m%28x+-+x%5B1%5D%29%29, with (x1, y1) being (6, 9), and m, or slope = 7%2F2.
Make the substitutions!
