with the numbers changed. I'm doing this one instead:
A T-shirt costs 6 times as much as a singlet. For $900, a trader can buy 34
more singlets than t-shirts. How much does a T-shirt cost?
A singlet costs $x
A T-shirt costs $6x
For $900, a trader can buy $900/($x) = 900/x singlets
For $900, a trader can buy $900/($6x) = 180/x T-shirts
Multiply through by x
A singlet costs $21.18.
A T-shirt costs $6x = $127.08
