y=x+2, and that is slope intercept form

      y = mx + b


where "m" is the slope and "b" is y-intercept.


So, to get the slope-intercept form from your equation, you should make these steps:



    1)  express 3y via x.  For it, add - 2x to both side to get


            3y = 6 - 2x.


    2)  divide both side of the last equation by 3.  You will get


           y = %28-2%2F3%29x+%2B+2.     


It is the slope-intercept form and it is your answer.
