Question 113643: Find the median of each set of numbers.
26, 30, 38, 67, 59, 21, 17, 85, 22, 22
WIll someone please help me how do i figure out the median? Add together then divide?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! First sort the numbers into ascending order (from least to greatest):
17,21,22,22,26,30,38,59,67,85
To find the median, count off about 5 spaces (just take half of the size of the list, which is 10) from the beginning of the list until you hit the middle. Now count count off about 5 spaces from the end of the list until you hit the middle.
17, 21, 22, 22,  ,  , 38, 59, 67, 85
Since the middle is in between the numbers 26 and 30, add them up and divide that sum by 2.
So the median is 28
