How do you find the axis of symmetry?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
It is VERY WELL KNOWN FACT that the equation for the height as the function of time is

h(t) = -16t^2 + 56t.

The axis of symmetry is half-way between the roots of the equation

-16t^2 + 56t = 0, which is

-16t%2A%28t-56%2F16%29 = 0.

The roots are t = 0 and t = 56%2F16, so half-way between the roots is 56%2F%282%2A16%29 = 28%2F16 = 7%2F4.

Are you satisfied ?
