Slope-intercept form is y = mx + b
m is the slope.....rise over run
b is the y-intercept

To graph y = 2x + 1
- put a point on 1, on the y-axis, that is the y-intercept
- from there, go up 2 and to the right 1, since the slope is 2....or 2/1
- draw a line through the two points
