If F(x)= 3x^2+x-5 , Find F(1) and F(-3)
substitute the following, then simplify:
F(1)= 3(1)^2+(1)-5
= 3 + 1 -5
= 4 - 5
= -1
F(-3)= 3(3)^2+(-3)-5
= 27 - 3 -5
= 24 - 5
= 19
