The hypotenuse of a right angle triangle is 13cm. One side is 7cm longer than the third slide. What are the dimensions of the triangle?

Maybe factorable, maybe not...
x=%28-7%2B-+sqrt%2849%2B4%2A120%29%29%2F2

x=%28-7%2B-+sqrt%28529%29%29%2F2
x=%28-7%2B-+23%29%2F2, and that would have been factorable, since discriminant 529 is a perfect square...

x=8 or x=15

Check both of these values to see if either of them does or does not work according to the description.
