does not agree with the rest.
If f%28x%29 is a function whose first derivative is the constant 2,
as in %22f+%27+%28++x+%29+=%222 ,
then its second derivative is zero, %22f+%27+%27+%28++x+%29+=%220 ,
and f%28x%29=2x%2BC for some constant C .
If also f%281%29=2 then 2%2A1%2BC=3 , so C=1 and f%28x%29=2x%2B1 .
