You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x%2F5-8=3%2Bx%2F4......first find common denominator
x%2F5-8%2A5%2F5=3%2A4%2F4%2Bx%2F4
x%2F5-40%2F5=12%2F4%2Bx%2F4
%28x-40%29%2F5=%2812%2Bx%29%2F4.......cross multiply
4%28x-40%29=5%2812%2Bx%29
4x-160=60%2B5x
-160-60=5x-4x
-220=x

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(X/5)-8=3+(X/4)
(x/5)-(x/4)=11
multiply by 20 to clear fractions
4x-5x=220
-x=220
x=-220
-44-8=3-55
-52=-52
