let denise have x dollars
Theo than has x+5 dollars
and ruby has x-11 (as she has 11 less than denise)
All together they have x+(x+5)+(x-11) dollars which is equal to 45
x+(x+5)+(x-11)=45
3x-6=45
add 6 to both side
3x-6+6=45+6
3x=51
x=51/3
x=17
so denise has 17 dollars (x)
Theo has 17+5=22
ruby has 17-11=6
