You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for d:
ts-tp+=+d%2Fvs+-+d%2Fvp First, simplify the right side.
ts-tp+=+%28dvp-dvs%29%2F%28vs%2Avp%29 Now factor the d from the numerator of the right side.
ts-tp+=+d%28%28vp-vs%29%2F%28vs%2Avp%29%29 Now multiply both sides by the inverse of %28vp-vs%29%2F%28vs%2Avp%29
%28ts-tp%29%28vs%2Avp%2F%28vp-vs%29%29+=+d
I'm not sure I understood you equation completely. Is it supposed to read:
t%5Bs%5D-t%5Bp%5D+=+%28d%2Fv%5Bs%5D%29-%28d%2Fv%5Bp%5D%29 ?
If so, then the answer would read:
d+=+%28t%5Bs%5D-t%5Bp%5D%29%28%28v%5Bs%5D%2Av%5Bp%5D%29%2F%28v%5Bp%5D-v%5Bs%5D%29%29
