Zero Product Rule would help.
Instead of your product being equal to zero, you want to know for what x values your product is less than zero. Critical values are still -3 and +5.

Choose ANY value of x in the interval -infinity%3Cx%3C-3;
and ANY value in -3%3Cx%3C5; and any value in x%3Cinfinity.
