L = kW
Where k = constant of proportionality.
When a weight of 8 grams is attached,
the spring stretches to 20 centimeters
L = kW
20 = k8
k = 20/8
k = 2.5.
Formula:
L = 2.5W
35 = 2.5W
W = 35/2.5
Weight = 14 grams.
