.
3(x + 2y) = 10y + 5,
2(x + 2y) =  3x + 2.

Collect all the terms with the unknowns on the left side:

3x + 6y - 10y = 5,
2x + 4y -  3x = 2.

Simplify:

3x - 4y = 5,   (1)
-x + 4y = 2.   (2)

Add equations (1) and (2). You will get

2x = 5 + 2 = 7,  ----->  x = 3.5.

Then from (2) 4y = 2 + x = 2 + 3.5 = 5.5, y = 5.5%2F4 = 1.375.

Answer. x = 3.5, y = 1.375.
