You can put this solution on YOUR website! 0.35................ 0.35
0.3.................. 0.30
0.2.................. 0.20
0.1.................. 0.10
0.05..................0.05
In simple terms if you have to round off to 2 decimals you have to look at the third digit after the decimal.
..
If the third digit is equal to or greater than 5 then the second decimal has to be increased by 1 and the answer written. ELse write the answer upto 2 decimals as it is. If there is no second digit then add a 0 in the second decimal place. 2.1 is written as 2.10
for example if you have to round of 6.137 to 2 decimals then , 7 is greater than 5
so the answer is 6.14
suppose the number is 7.312 and you have to round off to 2 decimal places
then the answer is 7.31 because 2 is less than 5.
The same rule applies for rounding off to any number of places.
