To explain this question to your daughter:
10n=8
We need to make N stand alone(isolated), so we can find its value.
To do this, we need to make N on one side of the equal side, and everything else on the other.
So, we are going to bring this 10 to the other side of the equal side with the 8.
when we bring numbers to the other side of the equal side, we change the sign. so, if it is a positive 10, when we bring it over, its going to turn into a negatve 10.
now, we have n=8-10
we bring this down to n=0.8, the final answer.
