Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Change in price: 90 - 126 = -36

Notice how the result is negative

Change in weeks = 3

-------------------------------------------------------

Average weekly change = (change in price)/(change in weeks)

Average weekly change = (-36)/(3)

Average weekly change = -12

So that means the MP3 player dropped in price by $12 each week.
