You can put this solution on YOUR website!

A band sells CDs for $8 each and T-shirts for $15 each. Sarah wants to buy some CDs and T-shirts as gifts for her friends but the most she can spend is $75.
Write an inequality using x and y variables to represent the situation and explain what the variables x and y represent in your inequality.
Thank you guys so much for helping me.

Let x and y represent the number of CDs and T-shirts she can buy, respectively
Amount she can spend on CDs: 8x
Amount she can spend on T-shirts: 15y
Since "THE MOST" means just that, we use the inequality: _%3C=_
Since "THE MOST" she can spend is $75, we get: highlight_green%28highlight_green%288x+%2B+15y+%3C=+75%29%29%29
