Question 850668: some children planted 5 trees in the colony park and 2 plants each in their houses.taking the number of children as x and the total trees planted as y,write a linear equation in two variables.

(2)what values do such children possess?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x = the number of children
Let y = the total trees
.
Each child planted 7 trees (5 in the park & 2 at home)
7x = y
.
For question 1, if there are 7 children * 7 plants, 7*7 = 49
For question 2, the value is X. (If this is Common Core Crabbbb, then you're probably supposed to answer with "values" such as 'forward-thinking' to plant trees for the future, 'environmental conservation' by planting trees. I hope they got a permit to plant in the park, and they know which sort of trees to plant at home so they don't mess up their neighbor's house foundation or pipes.)
