You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(x – 4) > 7x – 9
3x-12 > 7x - 9

Subtract 7x from each side and add +12
3x-7x-12> 7x -7x -9
-4x-12 >-9
-4x-12+12 > -9 +12
-4x >3

Divide both sides by -4, which reverses the inequality sign:
%28-4x%29%2F%28-4%29+%3E+3%2F%28-4%29
x%3C+-3%2F4

On a numberline, this is all values to the left of -3/4.
