A business purchses a piece of equipment for $25,000. After 5 years, the equipment will be worth only $5,000. Write a linear equation that gives the value, V, of the equipment during the five years.
Answer by Nate(3500) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P(0,25000) and P(5,5000)
M = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) = (25000 - 5000)/(0 - 5) = 20000/-5 = -4000
y = -4000x + 25000
