Janice is selling souvenir T-shirts at the annual Fiddle Contest in Bushnell Park. Her expenses are $400 to rent the booth and $5 for the blank T-shirts. After printing the design she will then sell them for $17 each. How many T-shirts must she sell to break even?

Expenses: E(x) = 400+5t where "t" is # of blank-T-shirts.

Revenue: R(x) = 17t
-------
Break Even mean Expense = Revenue
---
400 + 5t = 17t
400 = 12t
t = 33 1/3 (# of blank T-shirts she should sell to break even)
