You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If x pounds of regular yogurt, then fat (3%) in this yogurt is 0.03x pounds
60 pounds of low-fat (1%) yogurt contains 0.01%2A60=0.6 pounds of fat.
If will obtain 60 pounds, when mix x pounds of regular yogurt with no-fat yogurt, then no-fat yogurt is %2860-x%29 pounds. Fat in this yogurt is 0 pounds
So have equation
0.03x%2B0=0.6
x=0.6%2F0.03
x=20 pounds of 3% yogurt
then no-fat yogurt is %2860-x%29=%2860-20%29=40 pounds
Answer: 20 pounds of regular yogurt and 40 pounds of no-fat yogurt should be mixed to obtain 60 pounds of low-fat yogurt
