The three angles in a triangle always add up to 180 degrees. If one angle in a triangle is 72 degrees and the second is 2 times the third, what are the angles?

Let the third be "x".
Then the 2nd is "2x".

Equation:
x + 2x + 72 = 180
3x = 108
x = 36 degrees
2x = 72 degree

Let x and 2x represent the third and second angles respectively

solving for x
