You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let x = number of stoves & refrigerators sold &
the number of air conditioners = double that of stoves and refrigerators
combined
= 2(x+x)
= 2(2x)
= 4x
Then 600(4x) + 500x+400x = 16 500
2400x + 900x = 16 500
3300x = 16500
x = 16500/3300 = 5
So, x = 5.
Therefore 5 stoves are sold , 5 refrigerators are sold and 20 air conditioners are sold.
