You can put this solution on YOUR website!
One apple costs 60 cents. A dozen apples cost $7.oo. Which is a better purchase?
.
If a dozen cost $7.00 then each apple is:
7/12 = 0.58 or 58 cents
.
Therefore, the purchase of a dozen is better (but not by much -- especially, if you don't need twelve)
