You can put this solution on YOUR website! Think geometrically. If two lines intersect they must have different slopes, if they are parallel i.e. same slope, they will never intersect, and if one line is a scalar multiple of another i.e. a stretch or compression for line segments they will intersect infinitely many times as every point on line 1 has to be on line 2! Now this becomes a simple check of slope: line 1 has slope -5/6 and line 2 has slope -5/6 so the lines never intersect in a point. Have a nice day and good luck with your class.
