Question 1059203: How can you find the parallel lines for
3X+5y=-1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
write 3x+5y=-1 in slope-intercept form
5y=-3x-1
y=-(3/5)x-(1/5)
all parallel lines will have slope -(3/5)
They will have the form y=-(3/5)x+C, where C is any number except (-1, which would be the original line).
