Question 228116: how in the world do I find three points for the equation 3y-6=0 or 2x+5=0. I already know how to do y= 3x-2 or y=-2x+3 because the y is on the side of the problem I can do anything as long as the y is on the side the 3y-6=0 the y is not next to the equal how in the world do I solve this.

Question 228146: 2. Suppose you have a lemonade stand, and when you charge $2 per cup of lemonade you sell 120 cups. But when you raise your price to $3 you only sell 60 cups.
a. Write an equation for the number of cups you sell as a function of the price you charge.
b. Denote "C" for number of cups, and "P" for the price you charge.
c. Assume the function is linear.
3. Continuing our lemonade stand question:
a. We all know that total revenue (TR) is a function of the price we charged (P) multiplied by the item quantity sold (in our case – Cups), i.e., TR = Price * Cups
b. Please write the equation for your TR by inputting your answer from the function you have calculated in question #2.
c. What price would maximize your TR?

Question 229991: The sum of the digits of a two digit number is 12. (So, I am thinking the problem for that statement would be x + y = 12)
The number is 13 times the tens digit. Find the number.
I cannot for the life of me figure out the second equation. If I am given the equation, I can work the problem, but I can't seem to understand anything other than 13(x) = z. (But if I use that, I will then have 3 variables in a systems of equations problem.)
Help!
