Question 998922: I need help. the question tells me to graph each equation and I tried to put the equation into standard form but when I did the table came out wrong I don't know how to put the equation into standard form so that it will work out the equation is +1%2F2+x+%2B+y=+4+ if you want to see my work so far my email is paigecute1234@gmail.com, thanks for the help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1/(2x)) +y = 4
subtract (1/(2x)) from both sides of =
y = (-1/(2x)) + 4
This is a hyperbole, one half is tangent to the y axis with y varying from 4 to -infinity and tangent to y = 4 with x varying from 0 to +infinity. The other half is tangent to y axis with y varying from 4 to +infinity and tangent to y = 4 with x varying from 0 to +infinity.
