Question 998922: I need help. the question tells me to graph each equation and I tried to put the equation into standard form but when I did the table came out wrong I don't know how to put the equation into standard form so that it will work out the equation is if you want to see my work so far my email is paigecute1234@gmail.com, thanks for the help! You can put this solution on YOUR website! (1/(2x)) +y = 4
subtract (1/(2x)) from both sides of =
y = (-1/(2x)) + 4
This is a hyperbole, one half is tangent to the y axis with y varying from 4 to -infinity and tangent to y = 4 with x varying from 0 to +infinity. The other half is tangent to y axis with y varying from 4 to +infinity and tangent to y = 4 with x varying from 0 to +infinity.
